Ms. Theresa is a dedicated and passionate elementary certified educator with over 10 years of teaching experience. She was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, and migrated to the USA at the age of 15. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from The College of New Jersey and a Master's in Information Technology from the University of West Florida. Throughout her career, Ms. Theresa has worked with students at various grade levels, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to succeed.
Her teaching philosophy centers on the belief that every child has the potential to grow academically, socially, and emotionally when provided with the right tools and encouragement. Known for her creativity in the classroom, Ms. Theresa incorporates a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of her students, including project-based learning, technology integration, and differentiated instruction.
Beyond the classroom, she actively participates in school committees, mentors new teachers, and is a strong advocate for lifelong learning. Her dedication to education and her genuine care for students have earned her the respect of colleagues, students, and parents alike.
When she’s not teaching, Ms. Theresa enjoys reading, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her dog, Ryder.
